PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING RULES

These Personal Data Processing Rules (hereinafter referred to as the “Rules”) set out the principles for the processing and protection of Personal Data and the procedures whereunder the Website Administrator, as the personal data controller, processes the Personal Data.

1. DEFINITIONS

1.1. "Personal Data" refers to any information about an identified personal data subject or a personal data subject that is, either directly or indirectly, identifiable from the personal data provided at the time of registration on the Website.

1.2. Personal Data Subject / Data Subject refers to any person that (i) uses (used) the busyfuture.eu website.

1.3. Institution / Personal Data Controller refers to Public Institution “Utenos verslo informacijos centras”, company’s code 300056112, address Bažnyčios st. 1, 28242 Utena, e-mail: info@utenosvic.lt, phone: (8 389) 50 238.

1.4. Participant refers to a full aged person that registers on the Website for purposes related to his/her business, job, profession or craft.

1.5. Profiling refers to any form of automated processing of Personal Data, where Personal Data is used to evaluate an individual's achievements in the programme, as well as the accuracy and usefulness of the Program.

2. GENERAL PROVISIONS.

2.1. Personal data are processed in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Lithuania on the Legal Protection of Personal Data (hereinafter - LLPPD), the General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter - the Regulation) and other applicable legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania and the European Union, as well as the documents, requirements and lawful directions adopted by competent authorities.

2.2. The Rules are intended to ensure the protection of Personal Data, to establish the basic principles of their processing, to explain to the Data Subject the principles and procedures governing the processing of his / her Personal Data, and to inform the Personal Data subjects of how, for what purposes and on what grounds their Personal Data are processed, what rights each Data Subject has and how they can exercise them.

2.3. The Institution states that the processing of Personal Data in accordance with the procedure and principles set out in the Rules is necessary in order for the busyfuture.lt website to properly conduct and fulfil all the intended activities, to record data about the interests of the users, as well as disadvantages and advantages of the programme.

2.4. In order to access the information on the Website, the Data Subject shall first have to register; during the registration the Data Subject shall provide his/her personal data, such as name, surname, telephone number, and email address. The Institution undertakes to use all personal data provided during the registration process for statistical purposes only for the purpose of improving the programme. The Data Subject and the Institution agree and state that the data provided during the registration shall be used by the Institution only for purposes of improving the programme, and shall use the materials on the Website for personal purposes only, and not publish or copy the educational materials provided.

2.5. The Institution processes Personal Data only for the legitimate purposes defined in these Rules; it shall do so in a precise, transparent, fair and limited manner necessary to achieve the said purposes, in accordance with the principles of expediency and proportionality, without requiring, processing or storing surplus data, as well as checking and updating the processed Personal Data from time to time to ensure the proper protection thereof.

3. ACCEPTANCE OF PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING RULES

3.1. Prior to the personal data subject's performance of the registration actions specified in article 2 hereof, the Institution shall provide the Data Subject with the possibility to get acquainted with these Rules;

3.3. Right after the Data Subject gets acquainted with the Rules and registers on the Website, the Data Subject shall confirm to fully understand the Rules and that he/she thereby gives his unambiguous consent to the processing of this Personal Data.

3.4.Therefore, if the Data Subject disagrees to the processing of Personal Data described in these Rules, he / she shall not entitled to use the Institution's website for the protection of the Data Subject's Personal Data.

3.5. When the Personal Data Subject, after the registration, continues his / her visit on the www.busyfuture.eu website, his Personal Data shall be processed only for the purposes specified in the Rules.

3.6. The Institution shall have the right to amend these Rules unilaterally at any time, with the new amendments coming into effect after their publication on the Institution’s website. If the Data Subject commits the actions specified in Article 2 hereof after the amendment of the Rules, it shall be deemed that he/she agrees to all the amendments to the same extent his Personal Data have previously been processed. If the Data Subject disagrees to the amended Rules, the provisions of para 3.4 of the Rules shall apply. The Institution offers to have active interest as to how his/her Personal Data are being processed.

4. RIGHTS OF THE PERSONAL DATA SUBJECT

4.1. The Personal Data Subject shall be entitled to:

4.1.1. obtain information on what his Personal Data is being processed;

4.1.2. get acquainted with the Institution-processed Personal Data of the Data Subject, as well as to get to know for how long and what its data are stored in the Institution;

4.1.3. demand the correction, amendment or addition of incorrect, incomplete or inaccurate Personal Data. Also delete such data where the right to be forgotten is provided for in the Regulation and other legal acts. In cases where the Personal Data is received by the Institution from the Data Subject himself/herself, the Personal Data Subject shall be responsible for their correctness, accuracy and completeness upon submission;

4.1.4. revoke his/her consent to process Personal Data. Please note that upon withdrawal of consent, the Institution may no longer be able to provide services and access the educational information on the Website.

4.1.5. demand the deletion of his / her Personal Data processed only with the consent of the Data Subject, where the Personal Data Subject revokes that consent (right to be forgotten).

4.1.6. to request the suspension of the processing of his/her Personal Data in the cases provided for in the Regulation;

5. PROVISION OF PERSONAL DATA

5.1. The Institution shall use the Data Subject's Personal Data without a separate notice only for the matters related to the programme management issues, ensuring the compliance with the Rules.

5.2. The Institution shall provide Personal Data of the Data Subject only where such an obligation of the Institution is provided for in the legislation, for example: upon receipt of a state’s or municipal authorities’ receipt to prevent criminal activities, etc.

5.3. The Personal Data shall be stored in the Institution for 3 (three) years.
